Most weeks children will have PE twice a week. Although there will be regular slots alloctaed to each class, the timing of this may vary therfore, pupils should come to school with a full kit of shorts, T-shirt and plimsolls every week. All jewellery should be removable or not worn on PE days. In the upper school it is especially important that PE kits are taken home on a Friday and rerturned washed on a Monday, preferably once a week.
Can my child bring their mobile phone/device to school?
Mobiles and mobile devices are expensive items and can easily be damaged or lost. While we advise that devices are not brought in, we appreciate there might be occasions where a child needs to bring their phone with them. However, the school's insurance policy does not include cover for these devices, and therefore we cannot take any responsibility when these items are lost or damaged.
The school does have a wireless network for educational use and this is used in classes to enhance learning. On these occasions devices can be provided by the school to access the network. Pupil's own devices can be used, but as above, this should only be done with the consent of the teacher and parents/carers. Information regarding this is available on request.
