Friends of Blackness

Who are the Friends of Blackness?

It is  the name for the recent amalgamation of the Parent Teacher Association and the Parent Council. The Friends of Blackness runs social events throughout the year, and spend the funds raised on resources for the school community. In the past we have funded the refurbishment of the playground, six tablets for the school’s Wi-Fi, books for our library, sports day activities, Christmas parties and reward time activities. We  meet on a regular basis to look at issues relevant to the running of the school and the education and well-being of our children. We welcome input from everyone in the Blackness Primary School community, be they parents, grandparents, friends or relations.

Interested? Able to help? Have an issue to raise?
