Our Curriculum at Blackness Primary

At Blackness Primary, we follow Curriculum for Excellence (CfE), Scotland’s 3–18 curriculum. CfE aims to provide children with the knowledge, skills and experiences they need for learning, life and work, while developing them as Successful Learners, Confident Individuals, Responsible Citizens and Effective Contributors.

Our learning is organised across the Early, First and Second Levels of Curriculum for Excellence. Children progress through these levels at an appropriate pace, developing knowledge and skills across all areas of the curriculum.

We have included information and presentations from our Curriculum Information Evenings to help families understand what children learn at each stage and how you can support learning at home.
